Money Matters - Press release

Money Matters seeks interested people to help further develop resources for the upcoming training sessions for families to help promote financial literacy skills and knowledge.

The Financial Literacy Induction Training for Parents, the Train the Trainer Programme and Digital Resource toolkit will be ready soon and we are looking for feedback on the resources.

Anyone interested in joining in with these upcoming training sessions is encouraged to contact mary.devlin@learningunlimited.co.

Money Matters partners are pleased to announce that the Financial Literacy Induction Training for Parents is very soon heading towards completion with 6 modules that include lesson plans, presentations and activity sheets. These are  created to enhance parents’ learning led by adult educators.  The Train-the-Trainer Programme is for educators to raise awareness of the Induction Training. These modules and training sessions are based on research and feedback from stakeholders conducted on the digital resources, comic strips and escape rooms designs and will be launched in the coming months.

The Train-the-Trainer sessions, aimed at Adult Educators, will be tested in each partner country (UK, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, Greece) in April 2022.  If you or your organization are interested in being part of this free training opportunity, please contact  mary.devlin@learningunlimited.co. You can also contact Mary to join our mailing list so that future newsletters will be sent to you directly.

Any educators or people interested in our project are very welcome to contribute to the development by participating in our upcoming training sessions, joining our mailing list and providing their feedback on our resources using the above email address. Your contribution to the program is invaluable to the Money Matters project partners, because we strongly believe that people’s education is best led by participants themselves sharing their ideas and feedback aiming to further improve the project’s outcomes.
